It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Klaus Solterbeck, at the age of 77. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
Klaus is survived by his loving wife, Doerte, his daughters, Bianca (James) and Melanie (Tim) and his three grandchildren, Jacob, Sophia and Karoline.
Klaus was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Lisbeth Solterbeck and his in-laws, Willi and Marianne Krueger.
Klaus was always planning his next adventure. He loved a friendly debate on politics, history or the economy. Klaus enjoyed playing music at events and celebrating with his family or friends by going for a beer at the local pub. We will miss our lively dinners, family vacations, competitive soccer matches, card games and just having a laugh together. He was the last to leave the party because he was the life of the party.
Our family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wenzel-Smith. We are also very grateful for the amazing care he received from his caregivers, the home support nurses and the palliative team.
