December 20, 1949 - December 27, 2020
Our family is deeply saddened to announce that Kory passed away, peacefully at home as she wished, and surrounded by the close knit family that loved her. Predeceased by her mother Rowletta and father Martin.
Survived by sons Alex (Emma), and Graham (Ali) and husband of 34 years David. Also survived by other family members, Shirley, Gail (Mike), Eric (Dolores).
Kory wanted you to know that she bravely battled Sporadic CJD this past year, knowing she could not defeat it's inevitable course. Kory was a voracious reader of books, a doting mother to our wonderful sons and the incredible new daughters we never had. She was an accomplished master creator of fine foods, and a nurturer of all things in nature. We will miss her dearly, and feel blessed to carry on her legacy.
We will forever remember the countless moments of caring that define this family. Gourmet meals in heaven were just kicked up a notch. Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful.
It's the transition that's troublesome.
