In Loving Memory ~
Lee Wildeman or "Wild man" passed away at his family home in Cobble Hill BC on Monday July 11, 2022.
At 36 years young, Lee will be cherished and remembered by his partner-in-crime Stephanie, daughter Ava, fur baby Nixon, sister Raquel (Charles), sister Ingrid (Stephan), brother Shawn, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends he considered family.
Many of you will remember Lee as the go-to guy in oil stained coveralls, the first and/or last person in the gym on any given day, or that guy without a shirt on (he would greatly appreciate that last one). But for those of you that didn't know Lee, boy do we have a treat for you.
Born and raised in Cowichan Bay BC, Lee was well known for his infectious personality and big smile which rightfully earned him the nickname "Bobo" a.k.a. Doobie.
Lee was truly a Jack-of-all trades who could fix just about anything his family broke. Some of his favourite past times included arm day, looking for his keys, hitting fifth gear on the quad with various passengers for "fun", talking in the 3rd person, opening every cabinet door in the kitchen, and our favourite, making everyone around him laugh out loud for hours on end.
Lee was the life of the party wherever he went, and you could hear him in his Jeep from a mile away. Most importantly though, Lee was generous, thoughtful and had a magical ability to turn a frown upside down. He loved his family more than anything in the world and was always there when you needed him.
He gave 110% to everything he did and was always up for an adventure - bonus points if it included an adrenaline rush. He approached life without fear and was truly a force to be reckoned with.
He was fiercely protective over his daughter Ava, and was already planning on the best ways to scare off future boyfriends before she turned one.
Losing Lee has left a big gaping hole in our hearts that will never truly heal. His legacy will live on in his daughter, while he rides like the wind with the stars, poppin' wheelies. Life truly will never be the same without you.
We love you for infinity.
