Born in Duncan, BC, on Aug.8, 1962, Louie passed on Oct.30, 2021, in Nanaimo (NRGH).
He was the eldest son of Maurice (passed on June 4, 2017) and Shirley Foucher.
He is survived by his mother, his brothers Mark (children Elisa, Mathew and Andrew), Paul, Bernie (wife Maida, children Kelsey and Anika), Arthur (wife Laura), sister Stephanie and his best friend Kelli. Also survived by Lou's partner Dawn Caul and her children Danny, Jesse, Amber and Debbie.
Lou was a hard worker his whole life. He spent his career stuccoing on the island and then camp work (Plaster's and Cement Masons Union) in AB, SK, and BC.
Having overcome his own struggles in life he mentored many others, providing them with support.
Lou was strong until the end, even back surgery didn't stop him from being active. He loved his family, dogs (Bonzo), his Harley and enjoying the outdoors.
