March 26, 1930 - November 20, 2018
Oh the places she has been! Travel, family and friends, these were a few of her favourite things.

Mom's nick name was go-go granny for she never seemed to stop. Whether she was out with friends, Sunday dinners with family, traveling the globe  or meeting new people, mom was at her happiest. Mom loved to be a part of the goings on in the city, cultural events, conferences, concerts and festivals. She was keen to try new things like learning to ride a bike and skate in her forties. As a teacher, mom touched many lives; teaching her first class at the age of 17. A lifelong student of the arts and culture she earned her BA at the age of 48. She embraced her French Canadian heritage, traveling to France, speaking french to her children, being part of francophone groups wherever she lived and encouraging others that wanted to learn French. Her faith sustained her through the tough times and she rejoiced in the Lord right until the end.

She surrendered to her Lord and Saviour, going gently to His Kingdom where she is reunited with her Husband David Charles Bremner of almost 50 years, her daughters Anne Wentzell and Susan Bremner as well as her parents Yvonne and Alphonse Page, her sisters Monique, Georgette, Cecile, Betty and brothers Fernand, and Jean Paul. Mom is survived by her daughters Lorill Jones and Francine Skelly (Collin) grandchildren, Tyler (Carly), Kyle (Samantha) Sara and Jack, great grandchildren Abigail, Clark and Henry. She will be missed by her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews along with many friends.

Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Cowichan Regional Hospital for their care, they were mom's Angels. Thank you to her neighbours and friends, you all brought such joy to her time in Duncan, she was blessed to know you. Burial service will be in the spring of 2019 in Ottawa. Date to be announced.

Adieu, dit le renard. Voici mon secret. Il est tres simple : on ne voit bien

qu'avec le coeur. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

-Antoine de Saint-Exupery,Le Petit Prince

"Goodbye," said the fox. "And now here is my secret, a very simple secret:

It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
