Margaret "Margie" Darlene Terry of Duncan, beloved wife of 56 years to Francis Terry, passed away at the Cowichan District Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the age of 74 years.
She was the loving mother of: Curtis (Jolly Ma) Terry, Todd (Sanita) Terry, Sandee Phillips (nee Terry); five grandchildren: Menard Salazar, Dylan Phillips, Spencer Terry, Noelle Terry, Jenna Terry and great-grandchild Leovonni Salazar. Margie will also be lovingly remembered by her three brothers: Tali (Linda) Hughes, Bill (Connie) Hughes, Lorne (Bonnie) Hughes. She was predeceased by her mother Billie and father Lloyd Hughes.
Margie moved from Calgary to the Cowichan Valley in 1975. She helped run the family business, Duncan Dairy Queen, and later moved on to manage Lady Fashions Department at the local Eaton's Department store where she developed many close friends.
We will miss spending time with Margie, all the wonderful conversations sitting around the table playing cards or taking on a craft and sharing one of her amazing meals. We have so many wonderful memories that will be forever remembered and cherished.
