Margaret Walker passed away 24 November 2021. Margaret was born in Field B.C. on October 12, 1924. Pre deceased by her husband Bert, she leaves a Son (Herb) and Daughter (Marilyn), 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Mom lived a full and busy life including the Girl Guides, a career at Eatons Department Store in Calgary and Victoria. She was a valued member of the Duncan Hospital Auxiliary for many years generously volunteering her time to work in the Cowichan District Hospital Gift and Thrift shop. Her other great joy was singing with the Medford Singers.
She made many beautiful sweaters for everyone in the family and ensured no ones birthday was forgotten. Every special occasion was celebrated, her family dinners were a labour of love.
Known for her kindness, good nature and thoughtfulness she will be deeply missed by her family left behind.
We will cherish the wonderful memories she created for us.
