October 15, 1947 - December 29, 2020
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Marty was predeceased by sons Brandon Arthur and Donald Bernard, his brother David Robert and his father and mother, Bernard and Doreen Edgington.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Linda, children, Rick (Anne), Ashley (Scott), Cassie (Ernie), and grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael, Melissa, Chelsea, Aurora, Anneke, Ava, Axel, Brooklyn, Everly and Tenley. He is also survived by his brother Robert Scott, daughter-in-law, Robin (Donald), sister-in-law Louise (David), the many friends who love him dearly, and with a special thank you to his very dear friend, Rachel.
Marty fought a long hard battle with Parkinson's Disease, but refused to let it slow him down.
There are far too many things to say about this wonderful man. He will be sorely missed.
A private family service, by invitation only, was hosted in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC, on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at 2 pm, with Mr. Stephen Swift officiating.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations to Parkinson's Research in Marty's name would be greatly appreciated.
