Muriel Maandag of Duncan, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Born in Pense, SK; she met her beloved spouse Jan in Regina and they were one month away from celebrating their 65th anniversary.
She will be lovingly remembered by Jan, son Dave (Kim), five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, sister Elta Brown, sister-in-law Coby Maandag as well as nieces and nephews in Victoria and Ontario. Muriel was predeceased by her son Douglas. Muriel loved her family, camping, and Holland.
She was active with the Salvation Army in Duncan and Nanaimo, as well as Duncan United Church.
Memorial donations in honour of Muriel may be made directly to the BC Cancer Society or The Salvation Army in Duncan or Nanaimo.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Mountain View Cemetery in Duncan, BC.
