Mom left us quietly to dance again with our Dad Robert (Bert) Hamilton who predeceased her January 5, 1994 after 50 years of marriage.
She was also predeceased by her brother Bob Oxley and sister Isabelle Graham.
Left to mourn her loss are her children: Diana (Rick) Ketch, Don Hamilton and Rob (Linda) Hamilton.
She will be remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special niece Kathy Falvai.
Born and raised in Nanaimo, Nancy lived life to the fullest. Nothing was too challenging, from logging on Valdez Island, hunting and fishing trips and camping expeditions with grand kids in tow. She loved her time as a member of the Harbour View Chapter of the Sweet Adelines enjoying singing competitions and costume design.
She spent many hours creating with her hands through sewing, needlework and crafts. At age 70 she took up golfing as well as Lawn and Carpet Bowling. She was always busy. In May of 2013, Sunridge Place in Duncan became her home and the family would like to thank all her caregivers who gave her their best as dementia ravaged her mind and body.
At Mom's request there will be no service and flowers are gratefully declined. Those so wishing can make a donation to the charity of their choice.
