It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Beulah, she was born in Buffalo Gap, Saskatchewan to Geordie and Nancy Lamont. The oldest of four children. She passed away in Chemainus after a three year battle with cancer, just shy of her 90th birthday. She is predeceased by her parents, brother Alan and son in law Rick Wilkinson.

Mom came to Chemainus in 1934 then moved to Duncan in 1943. While working at the Cecil Cafe she met Bob Miller. In 1947 she married the love of her life and together they built the home they lived in for more than fifty-five years, raised five children and enjoyed the company of family and friends.

When the children were grown she went to work part-time at Mann’s Pharmacy. She also volunteered her time at JC’s, Scouters Guild and the Duncan Museum.

Mom had a very strong love of family and was an incredible homemaker. She was always there when you needed her, willing to give her all. She had a way of making everyone feel special and celebrated every milestone.

Some of her happiest days were spent camping and trailering. She also enjoyed several trips abroad.

Beulah is survived by her loving and supportive husband of sixty-nine years, Bob. Their children Anne (Doug) Stone, Wayne (Kathy), Greg (Cindy), Gary (Kathy), Dawn Wilkinson (Dom), Nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves her sister Janet (Cliff) Browne, brother John (Rita) Lamont, also sisters in law Delores Blower and Kay Miller.

We would like to thank the home support workers , and a heartfelt thank you for the amazing care she received at the Chemainus Health Care Centre - Palliative Unit.

A celebration of her life will be held on July 17, 2016, at Cowichan Golf and Country Club, 4955 Trans Canada Hwy, Duncan, BC, 2 - 5pm.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Chemainus Health Care Centre, Palliative Unit or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
