It is a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Nathan. Nathan joins his grandma, Gladys Haslam, grandpa and partner in crime, Jack Haslam, and very special "Uncle Bob", Robert Nelson, in heaven.
Nathan was an only child to his mom, Rebecca, who will miss him immensely. Nathan will be missed by his Auntie Carol Nelson and his large family, including the Haslams, Elzingas and Smiths and his great friends, too numerous to name.
Nathan was forever grateful for his career as a red seal plumber and for JS Plumbing for taking a chance on him, although he may argue it was the other way around! He worked with JS Plumbing for over 15 years and valued the strong friendships he made there.
Nathan will always be remembered for his selfless generosity, his infectious grin and laugh, and his talented "GREEN" thumb. He touched the lives of those who know him, with no shortage of people on "Team Nathan".
Nathan loved his animals, especially his rooster, Butch. He was never one to miss a family dinner at Aunty Carol's, and of course, the leftovers that came with. Aunty Isabel will miss his bear hugs.
A special thanks to the South End, Maple Bay, Crofton and Chemainus Fire Departments for saving the second residence and neighbouring properties. Additionally, a heartfelt thank you to our neighbours and community for their unending support and prayers.
A celebration of life will be held in September.
Condolences may be offered online at www.hwwallacecbc.com
