Ann Dales born and raised in Ontario, who later moved to the Cowichan Valley to raise her sons Daniel, Doug and David. Ann was known for her many years at Doman Industries, Beaver Lumber, and as a volunteer with the Cowichan Valley Special Olympics. Ann most recently resided in the West End of Vancouver.
Ann left us November 21, 2018 peacefully on her own terms surrounded by her son David, her daughter in-law Andrea, her dear friend Claire Nolan and the team from Dying with Dignity. Ann's Chronic Obstructed Pulmonary Disease, made her final months unbearable and challenging. Ann spent her final days surrounded by friends and family, enjoying the beautiful sea wall of Vancouver on her scooter and enjoying amazing meals from the best restaurants in Vancouver.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the VGH Pulmonary Function Lab, who supported Ann every week for years.
A celebration of life and afternoon tea, will be held in early January in both Duncan and in Vancouver.
