Patricia Mildred Ann King (nee Duce) passed on Monday, January 8th with family by her side. She was born on March 17, 1937 in Tantallon, Saskatchewan and early in her childhood relocated to Duncan, where she married the late Peter King and became the matriarch of the family she loved so dearly.
Pat was a long-time member of the Women of Moose and the Cowichan Golf and Country Club. She loved hosting dinners, dancing, playing bridge, camping, knitting and doting on her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dogs.
Pat is predeceased by her loving husband Peter King and survived by her daughter Deidre (Gregory) Haines, her son Vince (Lori) King and her grandchildren Martina Haines, Chelsea (Gregg Anderson) Haines, Kristy (Gavin) Symes, Cameron (Kellee Watson) King, Ryan (Lila) King, Brianna (Sean) Coghlan and great-grandchildren Henry and Hattie Symes.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 1:30 pm on Saturday, January 13th at the old Duncan Bridge Club, 2035 Herd Road, Duncan, BC, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society, a charity near to her heart.
Pat loved people and nothing would please her more than to have her friends and family gather to celebrate her life.
