Patricia "Patsy" Smith

May 22, 1938 - December 30, 2019
Patricia Smith (Patsy) passed away peacefully in Duncan, surrounded by her loved ones, on December 30, 2019 at the age 81.
Patricia was born in Vancouver on May 22, 1938. She was raised in Lake Cowichan by her mother and stepfather Edna and Harry Smith.
Patricia had a great love for plants and belonged to the Orchid Society for many years. Her interests included: curling, golfing, travelling and working in her garden.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Doug Smith, brother Russell Smith, mother Edna Smith and father Harry Smith. Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her son Greg Mannix (Melanie), her daughter Camille Mckinlay (Brent) and her granddaughters Ashley and Alyssa. As well as her sister Nancy Slogar (Larry) and brothers Randy Smith, Bruce Storey (Gail) and Guy Storey, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all the great nurses at CDH for the wonderful care.
The Celebration of life will be held at First Memorial, 375 Brae Road, Duncan, January 17 2020 at 1 pm.
