Peter John Clement left this realm on May 28, 2025. He was born May 4, 1951 in Farnsworth, Kent, England. Survived by partner Susan Nagle, brother Chris, daughter Chelsea, sisterin-law Anne, nephews Brian and Colin, and three cousins in England. Pre-deceased by father (Jim 1982) and mother (Pamela 2017). The family immigrated to Canada in 1957, settling in West Vancouver. Peter went to school there and eventually achieved status as a Journeyman Carpenter. As an adult he was somewhat of a nomad living alternately in British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, and again in British Columbia. Even growing up he was a genius at taking things apart and re-assembling them, building things, and repairing machines. At the age of 16 he took apart (and reassembled) a motorcycle engine in his bedroom. He was a kind, gentle soul who would help anyone in need. Peter was compassionate, sensitive, and loved helping people. In the year 2000 he moved back from Nova Scotia to Duncan, BC to help his aging mother. In 2002 he met Susan while working at Providence Farm in North Cowichan and they lived together until his death. Thanks are extended to the dedicated staff at the Cowichan District Hospital in Duncan for the care provided to Peter. A Celebration of Life for Peter will be held June 16, 1:00 pm at the Duncan Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (1815 Tzouhalem Road, Duncan, BC).
