December 25, 1935 - November 11, 2018
Born: Christmas Day, 1935, Vancouver, BC. Died: Remembrance Day, 2018 (82 years) from the effects of Lewy body disease.

Phil grew up in Vancouver, Port Alice and Crofton and graduated from Cowichan Secondary School in 1953.

He worked in the lumber industry most of his life, including many years at the MacMillan Bloedel Ltd. Chemainus Sawmill, and later relocated to Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Campbell River, Squamish and Richmond.

His work was his hobby, but he enjoyed following the lotteries and sports. He loved 10-pin bowling and playing Scrabble.

Phil was always caring and generous with family.

Lovingly remembered by family members: wife Audrey; sister Carol; sons Don, Dave and Doug; stepdaughter Joan and her husband Gerry; daughters-in-law Theresa and Tracey; grandchildren Ryne, Brennan, Rachel and Landen; and nieces Kathy and Susan.

A big thanks to the staff at Lodge on Fourth (Ladysmith) for their wonderful care of Phil.
