It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Perpeluk.

Bobby was born in Winnipeg Manitoba, grew up in Calgary Alberta, and was residing in Duncan BC at the time of his passing.

He is survived by his Mother, Gail Jones and preceded in death by his Father Leslie Albert Perpeluk, survived by his three Sisters Leslie Perpeluk, Shelley Cain, Reena Perpeluk, (Roger Kuttai), and two children Adam and Emma Perpeluk, many nephews Ryan and Aaron Cain, Matthew and Taylor Wieland, Miles Skagen and Niece Jaimie Skagen, preceded in death by nephew Spencer Skagen.

Bobby had the gift of gab and made friends everywhere he went. He was a storyteller of his extraordinary life. He was a Master Electrician in his younger years and became one of the most respected OIMS and Master Authority as Sea Captain.

He travelled much of the world, enjoyed building, woodwork, diving, gold panning, fishing, biking, and people. He had a love of life and lived it to the fullest. He was well respected and loved by many. He will be deeply missed.

At Bobby's request, there will be no funeral service but a family celebration of his life and a releasing of his ashes out at sea where he found his most peace and joy.
