A life taken way too soon. Rob was born to Robert and Ina Patterson, raised in Victoria, BC. He moved up and down the island before settling on the Malahat. He was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. He became an Electrician later in life to follow something he always enjoyed. His heart was devoted to his family and also his secondary family at the Malahat fire hall for 19 years. Rob has made many friends all over the island, as well as BC. He leaves his wife and best friend of 28 years Tanya, sons Justin (Kaylee), Nicholas (Jenessa), Cameron (Liz), daughter Amanda (Brad), grandkids Keenan, Ranay, Niko and Aurora, Mom Ina, Mother in law Bonnie, Brothers and Sisters Lorna, Jim, Sandy and Alec. Rob will be missed by many near and far.
The Celebration of Life for Rob will be on January 14th, 2017 @ 1:00PM at Frances Kelsey Secondary School – 953 Shawnigan Lake-Mill Bay Road. Following the service there will be refreshments and more story telling at Mill Bay Firehall – 2675 Lodgepole Road.
