Lamont, Roger Elwood, born on Sept. 11, 1942 in a Sydenham Twp. farmhouse in Ontario, passed away in Duncan, B.C. on April 7th, 2021.
Roger earned a diploma from the Ontario Agricultural College in Guelph in 1963, and worked in Japan in 1964. In 1967 he went to Sarawak, East Malaysia with the Canadian volunteer group CUSO for 2½ years, working on an agricultural research station.
