Passed away on February 25, 2017 in Chemainus hospice with his daughter Krysta and nieces Crystal, Candyce & Tiffany by his side. Our family would like to thank Cheré Johnson for helping Krysta care for him. He was a loving father to Krysta, his only child. Ron was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on December 20, 1953. Ron was predeceased by both his parents Olie and Audrey (Bun) Johnson and his oldest brother Elwood (Skip) Johnson . He is survived by his daughter Krysta, his two sisters, Sandi (Crossley) Coates and Lori (Jeff) Moore and his brother Kris (Dalene) Johnson. Ron was a west coast fisherman as a young man and loved the ocean. He was a very talented guitarist and singer. Many Croftonites remember Ron joking and singing and playing his guitar at bonfires. He always had a smile on his face. He filled our hearts with love, laughter and song.
He will be truly missed.
