Rosemary Elizabeth Bell Watson

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Rosemary (known to many as Rosie) passed away on June 28th, 2021 after a 3 year battle with cancer. She passed shortly after sunrise in the presence of her sister and close friend Gillian, in her home with her loving family.
She is survived by her children; Meaghan, Rebekah, Naomi and Thomas, her mother Elizabeth, her brother Jeremy (Kerry), and sisters Joanne (Mikin), Gillian (Steve), and Jennifer (Uriel), along with many nieces and nephews and bonus children.
She was a loving mother, dedicated daughter, amazing sister, and loyal friend.
Rosie served as a nurse for 35 years at GF Strong and Acacia, as well as a number of summer camps. Her love for her work and the people she looked after was, and always will be, unmatched.
Everyone who knew Rosie knew her love and passion for children and animals. The word generous doesn't come close to describing her steadfast dedication to loving and caring for everyone.
With her lively personality, her home was a welcome gathering place lled with laughter and joy. She was a erce and dedicated advocate and will always be remembered for her tenacity and her unwavering sense of justice.
As she confronted her battle with cancer she leaned on her unwavering faith and hope in her Lord and Saviour. She never doubted the kindness of God but admitted to the mystery of His ways and purposes. She was looking forward to being reunited with her father and other loved ones who have gone before her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 24th, 2021 at 2pm at New Life Church in Duncan, BC.
