Born to Billy and Margaret Farmer on August 14, 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and died October 12, 2018 in Duncan, BC. Beloved Mother to Lynda, Mark and Leigh. Mother in law to Howard, Georgina and Chris. Grandma Sam to Nicole, Nic, Coley, Keshia, Keith, Garret and Hanna. Great Grandma Sam to Tyra, Lexis and Sadie. Former spouse, Ian Millar (married 1955 to 1975).
Our Mom was a special lady, who held incredible strength in the face of difficult health challenges. Fondly referred to as the Energizer Bunny, she would pick herself up and keep on going with dignity and humour, most especially humour. Mom loved to bowl, paint, knit, sculpt and draw like a pro. She loved coming up with a great poem for a special occasion. She loved the sunshine...loved her wine....and loved enjoying both with any and all of the people that were in her life, most notably her Happy Hour friends. Our Mom, our Rock, truly loved by so many. Deeply missed.
