Beloved wife of the late Jack Campbell, passed away in Victoria, British Columbia, on January 25, 2017, at the age of 93. Shirley is survived by sisters Audrey (Arnold) and Joe Ann, nephew David (Patricia), niece Susan (Rod) and two grandnieces Megan and Nicole.
Shirley was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on June 5, 1923. She and Jack married on July 3, 1950, and they spent many happy years together making Winnipeg their home. Family and friends were always Shirley’s passion and joy and she was always thoughtfully doing something to help others. She will long be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
In 2000 when Jack passed Shirley relocated to British Columbia, first Duncan and then Victoria, to be closer to family. Here she continued doing for others wherever she was able. Shirley will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
No service will be held at Shirley’s request. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
