Stewart Kilgour of Cobble Hill, BC passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. He will be forever missed by his wife of 15 years, Lisa White; children: Marama, Bonita, Evie; parents, Allan and Marie Kilgour of New Zealand; brother, Scott Kilgour of Australia; sister, Ann Kilgour of New Zealand as well as by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Born in Golden Bay, New Zealand, Stewart's love of sailing and his wife's love of skiing brought him to Vancouver Island. He had three careers: a dairy farmer, a truck driver, then a stay-at-home Dad - his most rewarding job of all. He was quiet and strong, brave and adventurous, thoughtful and kind, and most of all, he was lots and lots of fun.
A Celebration of Stewart's Life will take place at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Lisa and Stewart's residence.
The family wish to especially thank the staff of the Cancer Clinic, BC Cancer Foundation, Dr. Masuda, Dr. Wilhelm, as well as all other doctors, nurses and staff of the Cowichan District Hospital, and Royal Jubilee Hospital.
