December 3, 1955 - April 13, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce Theresa's passing on April 13, 2018 at her home in Mill Bay, BC.
She is predeceased by her mother Eileen. She leaves behind her partner Andy; her daughter Jessie, and Jessie's dad Shaggy. Also her father Bob (Ann), sisters Linda (Dayle), Sandra (Erle) and Bonnie (Mike); as well as nieces and nephews.
Theresa was born in Victoria, BC and spent most of her years here on Vancouver Island. As a young woman Theresa worked for the BC Government, although most of her career was spent behind a deli counter, whether it be "The Back Alley Deli" in Oak Bay, BC or her 30+ years spent as a deli clerk at Thrifty Foods (Gibson's) in Mill Bay, BC.
Theresa was also a fabulous home cook, best known for her special pig-roast stuffing, sausage rolls, and potato salad! She loved music, flowers, needlework, beading and animals (at times even bringing them back to life)!
Theresa will be remembered for her kind, loving, gentle nature. Her loyalty and utter selflessness and her warm smile looking over the deli counter.
The family would like to announce that a celebration of Theresa's life will be held at the Eagle's Hall, 2965 Boys Rd. in Duncan on Sunday, July 22, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
