Wain was an amazing man who loved his family more than anything else. He will be missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Irene. His five daughters, spouses and grandchildren; Lisa (Jerry) Kyra, Cameron, Ariana; Shelley (Darcy); Darlene (Troy), Tawny, Torin, Marina; Cheryl (Stephen) Natasha, Nicolas; Alexis (Alvin, deceased) Bradley. His two sisters Cecelia and Patricia. Predeceased by his brother John.
Wain was born in Cumberland, BC and lived on Vancouver Island all his life. He was a Boom Man, which took him to Jordan River and eventually to work in Mesachie Lake. Wain was an outdoor enthusiast, picking wild mushrooms and berries, hunting, golfing, gardening and bowling.
The family would like to thank CDH Emergency and the Cardiovascular Unit at Royal Jubilee.
There will be a Celebration of Life on September 21, 2016 at the Eagles Hall on Boys Rd. at 1:00 pm.
