May 8, 1942 - October 1, 2020
William "Bill" Alfred Gravelle of Duncan, beloved husband of Sharon Gravelle, passed away at home on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at the age of 78 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Sharon; children: Rhéal Clifford Gravelle (Jody Godfrey), Richard William Gravelle (Kelsie Chartrand); three grandchildren; one great grandchild; as well as by his brothers in law: David (Sylvia) Fields, Earl (Eileen) Fields, Cliff (Sophia) Fields.
He was predeceased by daughter, Angela Marie Gravelle (2003), and sister Claudette Bylow. Bill was born in Timmins, ON and attended School in St. Catherine's, ON. Some of his many accomplishments included: the Military - Air Force; Alcan Aluminum, Kemano as a power house operator; he worked with BC Hydro as a District Manager in Duncan, Sechelt, Hazelton, and Bella Coola. He also became District Manager at Markham and Richmond Hydro.
He was a lifetime member of RCL Branch #140 in Sechelt, BC. He enjoyed dancing, darts, golfing, fishing and life in general. Memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stoke Foundation or BC Cancer Society.
