William James "Bill" Murray

July 12, 1931 - May 18, 2022
In Loving Memory ~
Bill was born in Southampton, Hampshire England.
He emigrated to Canada in 1957 where he had a teaching position in Prince George before finally settling in the Cowichan Valley in 1959.
Dad took on the Phys Ed Dept at Cowichan Senior Secondary School where he carried on an established soccer and track team and started a rugby program.
Bill is survived by his wife Anne and children Rob (Laurel), Ian, (Wendy) David, Graeme (Keri) and Rachel (Steve) plus scads of grand children and great grand children.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and wonderful nursing staff at Cowichan District Hospital for taking such good care of and accommodating all the Murray Clan.
An informal family hosted gathering and Celebration of Life will be held at the Murray Compound at 1055 Herd Road, Saturday June 11th. Please drop by between 1:00pm-5:00pm.

Dad was an avid Cricket player and he would be the first to say that "he'd had a good Innings".
