’Accountability is important from our elected officials’
I would like to ask if there are any known and viable avenues in which to bring concerns to light regarding the mandates in place.
Currently we have a large group of fellow Canadian citizens that clearly do not agree or do not feel informed adequately by our government and have taken to the streets near and far to demonstrate their frustrations. What could be done to diffuse the angst…there was a time I
too thought these were fringe outliers with little education in which to fully understand the ramifications’ of their actions. Now I realize that I have neighbors and co-workers whom share these beliefs. It did present as an episode of the Twilight Zone initially but there are more than a few of us realizing the narrative, optics and actions of our government become Un-Canadian when we silence and undermine our citizens before their voices filled with concern can be heard.
Accountability is important from our elected officials, name calling, punitive admonishments and further hysterics has proven to be disastrous.
This a great country, filled with great people…why are we not asking how we got here?
