Chalk up one skeptic on UFO sighting
The photo in your July 14, 2017 issue looks nothing like Ian Purcell claims — different shape etc. I don’t believe him, he’s quoted much detail.
Note the bright light, which looks like flame but could be sunlight reflecting off a shiny surface, that can be quite bright.
The leg-like projections and the yellow-white colour trailing the object are interesting.
Are students trying to have some fun in summer?
(Seems to be the fad this year, at least two “UFO”s reported in the Sooke area, which is close to Shawnigan Lake.)
