City boulevards not being mowed

The boulevards along St. Julian Street next to the Nissan and Dodge auto dealerships have boulevards looking like something in a third world country. At the far end, next to the Dodge dealership, the grass is 14 inches high on the boulevard. Also a home on St. Julian St. is also avoiding mowing the lawn boulevard. Also along the sidewalks, weeds are growing out from the pavement.

There is presently a bylaw that is enforceable to have these boulevards maintained.

I emailed this to information at the City of Duncan, I got a reply back from Allison Boyd, corporate services coordinator, and she said she forwarded the email to Garry Kerr, the senior bylaw officer.

I then emailed Garry, mentioning, that nothing has been done in regards to above required boulevard maintenance, and did not receive any reply. I then emailed all documentation to City of Duncan Mayor Michelle Staples, telling her that city employees are nothing but a joke, including the bylaw policies. No reply again.

I then forwarded all documentation to Selina Robinson, NDP minority government, minister of Municipal Affairs, mentioning that this nonsense has to stop, and municipality governments must start doing their jobs.

July 2 is coming up. Make sure you pay your property tax bill so that city employees are guaranteed their ongoing pay raises.

Remember when paying good money towards taxes, your tax bill amount is bogus because of incorrect B.C. assessment amounts on your property. I have done enough research to prove that the assessments are incorrect. Why? Look up all property assessments on your street and compare them with your own property assessments. Google B.C. Assessment, enter EVALUE and type in the addresses of the other properties to obtain tax assessment amounts.

In summary, you will be shaking your head. Unbelievable!
