In reference to a letter to the editor in the Sept. 11/19 Citizen from Barry Dixon on stopping development until the water crisis is solved.

How many past civilizations have destroyed themselves by over-population causing depletion of natural resources?

Let’s at least start in our own community to not repeat history.
