Community can handle big events

I just wanted to say how impressed I was when I attended the event that was hosted by the Glen Harper Curling Club last week.

I just wanted to say how impressed I was when I attended the event that was hosted by the Glen Harper Curling Club last week.

Cowichan again stepped up to the plate in hosting and volunteering. It was great to see our community showcased while being televised to all curling fans in B.C. Chair Brent Dellebuur did an amazing job keeping things flowing effortlessly.

Cowichan is showing that a community our size is qualified to host and succeed at large sports tourism opportunities such as this was and the upcoming Aboriginal Hockey Championships in May 2017 and the BC Summer Games in 2018.
