CVRD rezoning process for P.I.M. a charade
Can anyone say they were truly surprised that Pacific Industrial Marine got their zoning application passed? Ha! This decision was made a long, long time ago. All the CVRD, hearings, meetings, conferences, etc., were a superfluous charade to appease the majority. P.I.M has had the CVRD in their back pocket from day one. So, congratulations Mr. Thacker! You may now really stick it to the good people of Cowichan Bay for thwarting your desire to deconstruct the Hood Canal Bridge a few years back. Let the pre-5 a.m. cacophony of sledge hammers on steel serenade the bay once again.
