Desperate need for adequate mental health care

Not only are people being left to live in misery on the streets, some of them are literally dying because the provincial government is shirking its constitutional responsibility and obligation to provide adequate mental health care. Municipal spendy bandaids like “safety ambassadors” simply are not going to accomplish what’s needed — sufficient facilities and staff to provide proper mental health care for a range of conditions, including addictions.
