Don’t believe you’d stick to principles
Thank you Dara for your reply. In your reply you say, “If I was a franchise owner and could not make a profit without exploiting my workers, I would rethink the value of my franchise partnership.”
I do not believe you. Putting yourself into bankruptcy? I don’t think so. What if you have your home as collatoral for your business? Where are you going to live? What about the rental lease payments that are signed? You have to pay the total lease payments if breaking a lease.
If you did put yourself into this situation, what kind of job are you able to find that can keep you going at your present lifestyle?
In today’s world, employers do not want employees age 50 years old and up.
In summary, you have not studied options of how to keep you going with an income using the example of closing down a franchise operation. You could try selling the franchise, but who would want to buy the operation when your bottom line profit is not worth the investment to a new owner?
