Or, perhaps, when the mid-Island population reaches a couple of million and the E&N corridor might be used for LRT.
Until then, any attempt to operate E&N train services is merely using our tax dollars to fund Dennis Washington, 21st wealthiest billionaire in the world and sole owner of Washington Enterprises, which, in turn, solely owns South Island Rail — plus those persons still on the E&N payroll.
Does BC Rail ring a bell?
The E&N is a moribund railway and a sinkhole into which we pour nothing but money.
