Get back to class, kids

So cheer up, get that education

Get back to class, kids

Regarding the children’s climate march.

Perhaps the children can explain what is achieved by taking a day off school to march about and hurl blame at older generations. Perhaps enjoying the fact that they can demonstrate unmolested in this country, something not possible in many places.

Plenty of progress has already been made in increased efficiencies, better use of resources and greater awareness of our surroundings. Remember, some things do come at a price, such as those wind turbines which produce some nice clean energy but are also responsible for the death of countless thousands of birds.

There have been some folk who predict doom and gloom and the end of the world since the beginning of time. So cheer up, get that education which will mean you can earn a decent living and contribute to the ongoing efforts. Get back to class!
