Governments must prioritize a green recovery

I am writing to you to encourage you to support our local, provincial and federal governments in making a plan for our post-COVID-19 future. This plan should put people and the earth before all else.

In its COVID-19 recovery package I want the federal government to prioritize the electrification of our economy, by investing in renewable energy projects and making our homes and public buildings energy efficient and safe against earthquakes.

The plan must recognize the value of all Canadians as worthy participants of this future. I appreciate the steps already taken to work in this direction.
