Island Corridor never going anywhere

Re: Island Corridor Foundation

Time for the last spike.

Phil Kent is wrong. Prime source of funds over the last 10 years or so for this organization are “fees” charged to municipal governments for “rent” of parking lots or railway crossings and other “services” as we await the day some government is going to give it $500 million plus in “pipe dream” welfare to run a train up and down the Island one time per day at a subsidy of $30,000 per ticket.

Surely there are better uses for the money (i.e. the Saskatchewan Roughriders) particularly since the money has to be borrowed. The big wave of tax revenue from the “green” economy has not yet kicked in, although it may be en route in some bicycle lane.
