Adults need to foster acceptance
In the Cowichan Valley Citizen, Sept. 15 issue there were letters to the editor regarding the gender neutral washrooms in the new high school.
I would like to confirm that this Mr. Senft agrees with the concept. This is contrary to the letter to the editor, with the name Erich Senft attached.
The reason I support the new washroom concept is because I accept that every person has their personal private gender identity. We all must be thinking differently in this modern inclusive age and accept each other’s personal preferences. If we as adults foster acceptance, we will eventually teach our children that basic life principle.
Hopefully it will come to pass that this issue will be a moot point.
