Changes planned for Centennial Park tragic
If mayor and council have any respect for the present and future residents of Duncan and area, they will NOT approve the construction of a six-storey building in Centennial Park. It will be devastating to the area. When I look out across the east side of the park with the spectacular fall colours, I realize this beautiful scene could soon be a parking lot.
That same lawn area is the site of many picnic dinners spread for families whose kids spend the day in the water park. Very sad. The claim of new Duncan Manor designers is that this is “unused area” which is grossly untrue!
