Christians in fear in Afghanistan
Absolutely heartbreaking to hear the frantic and fearful accounts from Afghanistan as people fear what terrorist groups will do to them now. However, also equally as sad are the accounts from Christians and other religious minorities who have been forced from their homelands over the last two decades by the same groups! They struggle to get a rare sponsorship in countries like Canada where they can raise their families in freedom.
Six years ago, Canada responded to the Syrian refugee crisis by relocating over 30,000 in five months…we need to extend the same hope to thousands who are suffering because of their faith with the same speed and compassion. At the moment, they are waiting years for processing and all are in desperate circumstances! Please let our politicians know of your concerns…
