Don’t badmouth candidates
The negativity that has been going on around the municipal elections is disparaging. As Canadians, we saw COVID create such divisiveness, whether intentionally or not. One would be hopeful that people have come back to accepting that even though we all have separate and different opinions, we are all humans sharing this time and space.
We have had some wonderful candidates who have never been politicians before step up to the plate to create a better future for our Valley. If you are not willing or able to make this commitment yourself, perhaps you are in no position to bad mouth them, especially if you have never taken the time to meet or talk with them.
