Get homeless to help clean up
Over the recent years volunteer groups have been formed to clean up litter from abandoned homeless camps. Even city crews are cleaning up these camps. We should get the homeless to contribute.
How fair is it that city crews and volunteers clean up homeless camps? I am sure the homeless will help if they get paid. One idea is to have popup cleanups. Homeless can be approached and get them to help clean up. A team leader can supervise them; praising them for their hard work. Getting them to contribute will improve their confidence, self esteem and earn a sense of accomplishment.
