Residential Tenancy Act unfair to disabled, seniors and low-income

I know the rules about ESAs (emotional support animals) and the restrictions now existing in the Residential Tenancy Act and it needs to be changed. Don’t just slide the problem away. It exists and will continue to exist, until whoever has the say-so changes it. What is so difficult about abolishing an existing rule that is so unfair and discriminatory to the disabled and low income?

If you are so inclined I have started a petition on Change.org to hopefully show how many are in support of changing the Residential Tenancy Act to actually helping the disabled, seniors, and low income instead of penalizing them and others that have pets and are renters. It’s difficult enough to find a place to rent without having to deal with a ‘no pets’ clause forcing people to give up their companions in order to have a home.
