Ring turned in a huge relief

Recently upon my return from a meeting in Lake Cowichan I discovered that I had lost a ring that is of special sentimental value to me because it had belonged to my grandmother. Where could it be?

I retraced my travels and decided that there were just two places where I could have lost it and one of those was the Lake Cowichan Arena. I called and told arena staff and soon after that I got a call telling me that some wonderful, thoughtful person had turned my ring into the lost and found.

I immediately felt incredible relief and gratefulness. I asked who that person was, hoping to offer them a reward. But no one knew who it was so I have written this piece to say how thankful I am that my ring was found by a person with the old school values that are still so prevalent in the communities of our region and in hope that the person who found my ring will contact me so I can express my gratitude personally.
