Thank you to people who helped after fall

I had a bad fall on Sunday, Oct. 16 on the sidewalk along Trunk Road, just east of Craig Street, and I want to thank the two people who stopped to help me.

The first was the man who had seen me fall, and parked his car nearby. The other was the woman who saw me sitting, crying, after it happened, and who had some first aid knowledge and thought I needed to go to the hospital. They were both so kind.

I called my son, which I knew I had to do once I stopped crying, and he came for me, drove me to the emergency room at CDH. I had a wait, but everyone there was so kind. I had injuries, and some tests were done. It’s been a tough three weeks, but I’m well on the mend.

So, although I didn’t get your names, you know who you are, and I thank you so very much. You both reinforced my belief that people do care.
