I find it pathetic that the municipality can water the boulevard grass and trees on Green Road every night even though we are on a stage 3 water restriction. The automatic sprinklers just turned on at 1:56 a.m.
In Vancouver it is a $2,000 fine for watering your grass. Maybe the municipality should be fined the same amount for wasting water. Remember the grass goes dormant and will grow back. That is what they tell us residents who have to abide by the law. What makes them so special that they can get away with it?
